Easy Sweet Cream Biscuits

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 Tbls baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • (2) 5.3 oz AE Dairy Sweet Cream or Almond Sweet Cream Whole Milk Yogurt
  • 1 Tbls Turbinado Sugar (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Combine all of the dry ingredients.
  3. Add in the yogurt and stir to combine.
  4. Use your hands and fold the dough until a ball can be formed. Do not overwork.
  5. Roll the dough out to ½-1 inch thick.
  6. Using a cup or a biscuit cutter, cut out the biscuits (makes about 10)
  7. Place the biscuits (touching) on a baking sheet.
  8. Sprinkle the turbinado sugar over each biscuit
  9. Bake for about 10 minutes.
