  • 1 cup butter
  • 1½ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup AE Egg Nog
  • 3¾ cup flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp cream of tarter
  • 1 8oz pkg Heath Milk Chocolate Toffee Bits
  • Frosting:
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 3-4 Tbls. AE Egg Nog
  1. Preheat your oven to 350.
  2. In a mixer, cream the butter. Add the sugar and mix until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, salt, vanilla and AE Classic or Lite Egg Nog and mix for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the flour, baking soda, cream of tarter, and Heath toffee bits and mix until combined.
  5. Using a cookie scooper, place 12 small cookies on a baking sheet. Using a small spoon, press the middle of the cookies down to create an indent, similar to a thumbprint cookie.
  6. Bake for 9 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, make the frosting. Cream room temperature butter, powdered sugar and AE Egg Nog together. Add the mixture to a Ziploc baggy and cut the tip off to create a homemade piping bag. Once the cookies are cool, pipe the Egg Nog frosting into the middle of the cookies. Top with crumbled Heath bars.
