This recipe is almost too easy to share. With warm weather coming up, though, I wanted to share a refreshing fruity drink: Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade. How is this raspberry lemonade different than other raspberry lemonade recipes? Just one simple tip makes the lemonade super cold for those warm summer days by the pool: frozen raspberries. You could even add double the frozen raspberries for a more slushy drink. I’m already dreaming of this because it’s about 50 degrees and rainy here in Iowa as we speak.
Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade
Before sharing this recipe, let me start off by sharing that the “sparkling,” in this recipe is really Sprite. I’m a big believer in moderation and we don’t let our kids have soda (we call it “pop” here in Iowa) that often, but it is something we have once in awhile. If your house is a no-pop house, you could easily switch the Sprite out for sparkling water or club soda and also buy Organic lemonade with no added sugar too.
You could easily make this drink an adult beverage, but I’ve got a few cocktails ready for you. Try my Spiked Pink Lemonade frozen fruit cups or Watermelon Lemonade Beer Cocktail for more refreshing (adult) summer fun. Hopefully we all will be sitting out in the sun soon!
- 8 oz. frozen raspberries
- 64 oz. of lemonade
- 24 oz. of Sprite. (You can use however much you have on hand. Even one can will add a little "sparkling.")
- 6 oz. fresh raspberries
- Add the frozen raspberries and half of the lemonade to a blender and pulse until smooth.
- Pour the raspberry mixture, the rest of the lemonade, and the Sprite in a large pitcher and stir until combined.
- Add ice and fresh raspberries.
I needed this today it was so hot! That looks so refreshing and cold and the frozen raspberries are just genius.
This looks Delicious! Would be perfect for a hot summer day :)
This drink looks so refreshing and delicious. I’m looking forward to trying it.
