I’m always looking for quick and easy hairstyles I can do in under ten minutes. My daily routine, especially when the kids are home for the summer, is limited. I don’t want to fall in a rut of doing the same hairstyle over and over, so I like to try new things once in awhile. The catch is, it’s got to be a easy hairstyle (and beginner).
First, I use the Suave Professionals® Sea Mineral Infusion Texturizing Sea Salt Spray. This is my daily go-to product and style when I don’t straighten my hair.
The Suave Professionals® Sea Mineral Infusion Texturizing Sea Salt Spray helps create a loose, textured look with full bodied waves.
Once that dries, I can add a quick side french braid. This hairstyle is easy for beginners. Those of you that do different hairstyles on yourself probably have french braiding down pat, but there are many like me who need a little instruction.
Figure out how big you want your braid and separate the hair from your part line down to your ear. I just wanted a small side braid to frame my face. In actuality, I chose this type of braid because it is the easiest to do on myself. If I can do it, you can do it!
From there, you take a small section by your part line and separate that into three equal parts, just like a regular braid.
Start a normal braid for about three sections. Keep going with this traditional braid, but start to add in small sections of hair before crossing the section over to the center. I found that if I go a little faster and not worry too much about having the perfect amount of hair in each section, it is easier.
I use a bobby pin to pin the braid by my ear and voila! My usual hairstyle with a little flair, but it literally takes no time at all.
Be sure to use the Suave Professionals® Sea Mineral Infusion Moisturizing Buoyant Body Shampoo and Conditioner system which provides hair with 24-hour body and moisture that is easy to style.
