Fort-making has been a favorite childhood activity for decades. I used to make forts, my mom made forts and even my Grandma! There’s so much imagination that goes into both building the fort and playing in the fort. Our family has found that the best forts are filled with comfy blankets, fluffy pillows and favorite stuffed animals- you can’t have too much! Sometimes my kids even try to sleep in their creation with Dad like a living room campout, but one-by-one they eventually end up in their own beds. My kids love to create forts, especially for movie nights, and obviously you can’t have movie nights without popcorn! Our new favorite popcorn is Pop Secret Kettle Corn which has a perfect, slight hint of both sweetness and saltiness.
We made a 150 Pop Secret Calorie Kettle Corn Trail Mix for our #PopSecretForts, but this would be the perfect snack to take to work or to send in the lunch box. I am not a nutritionist, but according to all of the calorie information of the ingredients, this recipe would make 15 (1 cup) servings of Kettle Corn Trail Mix.
Pop Secret knows that fun, like popcorn, is better when it’s shared. Build a fort with your kids and make memories! Send Pop Secret your own pillow fort stories and pictures on their Facebook page. You can upload them right to the Pop Secret timeline and tag them #PopSecretForts. You will be eligible to win mystery prizes and rewards and just for visiting, you can download a $1 off coupon!
