My family loves cinnamon rolls for breakfast and I love them because they are quick and easy. Sandra Lee from Semi-Homemade has teamed up with Pillsbury and has brought you five new recipes to make your Sunday mornings sweeter. In addition to the Cinnamon Roll French Toast below, there are yummy recipes like Apple Walnut Sticky Buns, and Chocolate Raspberry Cream Cinnamon Rolls– all using Pillsbury refrigerated cinnamon rolls.
INGREDIENTS
1 can (12.4 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
4 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
Bake cinnamon rolls as directed on package. Let rolls cool completely. In shallow dish, whisk eggs, milk, 2 tablespoons of the maple syrup and the vanilla.
Cut the rolls in half like a hamburger bun.
Dip each cinnamon roll slice into egg mixture, turning to coat completely. Place on griddle.
Cook about 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Top with frosting and/or maple syrup!
Those look yummy!! I’ll have to try that sometime
They look good to me, but my daughter only wants hers made with raisin bread.
Okay so let me get this straight. What you are saying is that you have found a way to make canned cinnamon rolls even better? And now you are my favorite person. I’m making these on Easter.
