UPDATE: Consumer report’s recent tests of strollers revealed three models that we’ve designated Don’t Buy: Safety Risk—the Valco Baby Tri-Mode and Tike Tech City X3 all-terrain strollers and the Tike Tech X3 Sport jogging stroller.

Sounds like a great car, right? Nope, this All Terrain X3 Sport is actually a stroller from the 2010 line of Tike Tech strollers! If you and your family like to go walking or jogging then this is the stroller for you. This stroller is built to glide safely and comfortably over the bumps of the road. It is car seat and bassinet compatible so even the littlest of adventure seekers can come along.

Tike Tech designs baby gear products with an emphasis on the outdoors and has a commitment to quality, safety and customer support. All 2009/2010 strollers are field and internally tested rigorously to create and maintain the safest possible product. Not only does Tike Tech have safety as a priority, they also have variety. You can add several different accessories to any of the strollers including: car seat adapters, snack and pack bag, foot muffs, stroller covers, bassinets, baby doodle inserts and water bottle holders.

Here are some features of the X3 Sport Single that I like:

Seat Harness: 5-point harness with adjustable padded safety straps, shoulder pads and adjustable chest strap.
Canopy: Removable (multi positional) with adjustable “low drop down visor”. Includes a large moon roof with moon roof cover.
Warranty: 5 year on frame. Standard 1 year on soft goods.

Hoover Platinum Collection: Cyclonic Bagless Upright

Why should you choose Hoover? Hoover has been a leader in the floor care industry since the 1900′s and it’s brand is easily recognizable for quality.

Murray Spangler, an inventor who worked nights as a janitor, had an asthma problem. He called upon his inventor’s creativity to find a solution to the dust that aggravated his asthma as he swept up at night.

Spangler gathered a tin soap box, a fan, a sateen pillow case and a broom handle, and assembled an odd-looking, cumbersome contraption that managed to pull the dust away from the air he breathed. He quickly realized that this “suction sweeper,” as he called it, had enormous sales potential, and he began seeking financial backing.

W.H. “Boss” Hoover, owner of a leather goods manufacturing shop, bought the patent from Spangler in 1908, retained him as a partner, and soon had six employees assembling six units a day in a corner of the leather goods shop.

We have a big problem in my house. My husband is a major clean freak and it is rubbing off on Colton. One of Colton’s favorite activities is to vacuum, so he loved the Cyclonic Bagless Upright. This vacuum is high-tech. The first thing I noticed was the sleek look. Very simple, but futuristic. One of my favorite features is the embedded dirt finder, which actually tells you if the floor is clean or dirty. The on/off switch is located right on the handle for convenience, as well as a floor setting that can be switched depending on your carpet height. The only downside is the weight of the vacuum, which weighs about 21 pounds. Despite how large it is, I would recommend this to anyone because of it’s high quality performance.

Check out Colton trying out the Cyclonic Bagless upright. I didn’t even tell him to vacuum. Excuse all the mess, we just moved in a couple days ago and everything isn’t put away yet!
