National Jean Company Adds Kid’s Collections!

nationaljean

If you consider yourself a fashionista or anything close to it, then you’ve probably heard of National Jean Company and the popular brands they offer. Diane von Furstenberg, Michael Kors, Alexander McQueen and Dolce and Gabbana are all popular labels offered at National Jean Company and now- if you have a little fashionista, she can rock the same fashions mommy does with their new kids lines.

I know what you are thinking: I don’t want my daughter to turn into a spoiled rotten Suri Cruise who has everything in designer labels and I certainly don’t have the money for that! Well I’m glad to say most of the clothing is under $50.

midsize8372-165This looks like a fashionable dress that you might pick up for yourself for date night or girl’s night out, right? It’s actually part of the Gypsy 05 kids line at National Jeans Company. While all of these clothes are fashionable and could be something you would wear yourself, they all are still kids clothing- no booty shorts or tube tops here.  Most of the clothing in this kid’s line is girls, but there are a few boys pieces as well.

In celebration of the launch of their new kid’s line, National Jean Company would like to offer one Busy Mom reader any item from the kid’s Butter collection for your little fashionista.

Here’s how to enter: Check out the kid’s collections at National Jean Company and let us know your favorite piece and let us know in the comments.

In addition, you can receive extra entries for promoting this kids line or Busy Mom on anysocial networking sites. This means twitter, digg, kirtsy, facebook, etc. Let us know in the comments and provide links or usernames. You can follow @NationalJeanCo and @busymomblog or find them on facebook and we’ll throw in three extra entries if you email subscribe to Busy Mom.

Affordable Celebrity-Inspired Jewelry for Expensive Tastes

ringThis is not just a woman’s world… it’s a mom’s world. Women of all ages have decided to take on the most important role – motherhood and many celebrity moms have made it look like a piece of cake. They go on coffee breaks with flawless skin, impeccable fashion and their kids are dressed to the nines. (Besides money and fame) What do they have that we don’t?

The problem is: we don’t take time for ourselves. I’m sure you’ve heard that before and you think “ya, ya it’s easy to say”. TODAY I want you to get out of bed, put some cute clothes on and do your makeup and hair- just because. Next time you see those cute shoes in the mall- buy them.

I think the trick to celebrity moms looking so well put together is accessories. I always see them in photos with cute accessories and purses and I think those are what makes the outfit. Fantasy Jewelry Box has a ton of celebrity-inspired jewelry for affordable prices. They have been featured in many fashion magazines and TV shows showing the latest fashions for less. I especially love their “inspired by nature” collection to celebrate that Spring has actually arrived! So, pick out something for yourself! (Hey, Mother’s Day is coming up isn’t it?) I love my new Victorian Style Cocktail Ring. It is fashionable, intricate and seemingly unbreakable…. beautiful quality! If you are in search of a gift for Mother’s Day, Fantasy Jewelry Box not only has fashion jewelry, but more classic pieces as well.

Bohemian Style

Bohemian-inspired fashion has been “in” for awhile now and because of that, bohemian clothing stores have been popping up all over the Internet! I like this look because it is (usually) modest yet still fashionable.

The beautiful bohemian dresses you often see are the long-flowing “maxi” type dress, but everyone is adding their new twist to this style derived from the mid- 1800′s. Nicole Richie, pictured at the left, pairs a knee length dress with an oversized bag, strappy sandals and large sunglasses. Some combination of accessories is always needed to finish off!

Several celebrities who are known to be “boho-chic” are Mary Kate and Ashley olsen, Sienna Miller and Nicole Richie. The Bohemian look is often considered artsy, free-spirited and often a form of self-expression. You can put a new twist on this old look or even go more traditional with Kurtis and Kaftans.

I think this boho style is here to stay!
