Here is the newest addition to our family…. Ollie! This is about two-week old news, but one of the first nights he was here, he chewed up my laptop power cord and I finally just got a replacement in the mail yesterday.

We figured it was about time Colton had someone else to play with, he was starting to have “only-child syndrome!” Ollie sure seems like another child added to the family, the first few nights we literally got no sleep because of his whimpering and crying in the kennel. It didn’t help much that his bark sounded more like a goose, which I’ve found is one of the most annoying sounds when you are trying to sleep. But because of a few of your suggestions, we brought the kennel into our room at night and now he sleeps like a baby! Now I just need to work on the whole potty training thing….

I’m glad I took a video of Colton’s reaction when we first brought home the puppy, it was a total surprise. I think he was so surprised he almost started crying!
