Backyard Entertaining #SummerwithSears

It’s hard to believe my baby turned five yesterday. Gone are the days of “little kid,” things, he’s now a big boy. School, superheros and sports are now his favorites.

Last year I planned a construction birthday bash in our backyard complete with a fun dessert table, piñata and a lot of friends, but this year was a more low-key family birthday party. I gave you a little glimpse into our backyard a few weeks ago which is where we typically like to host our get togethers. Our backyard is spacious and perfect for entertaining, but this year Colton’s birthday ended up looking like this….

No backyard fun for us! We originally planned to eat dinner on the deck and have a slip-n-slide and water games, but we had to move everything inside. Oh well, he was still all smiles!

Our backyard is our go-to spot whether we are entertaining one guest or twenty and entertaining is just one thing that my family enjoys on our patio. What activities do you and your family enjoy on your patio? Answer the question below and one of my readers will win a $25 Sears gift card!

My favorite for our patio is having friends and family over for bbq’s. We usually have some people over every weekend if the weather permits and when it starts to get dark, we fire off our firepit.
    Thanks so much.
