From the early years I remember my Mom sprinkling a little baking soda on the carpets before vacuuming. It made the room and carpets smell fresh even though our large family included three crazy, dirt-loving little boys and two dogs.
Now I’m grown with a family, a house and a puppy of my own.
Never did I know how much dirt could trail into the house or how many unknown smells I would have to seek out. My closet is now stocked full of carpet deodorizers and room sprays.
This isn’t a product I would have to #SwitchandSave from my previous brand. I’ve already been using both regular Arm and Hammer baking soda and their awesome carpet deodorizers for years. If you don’t already, I would recommend sprinkling on a bit before vacuuming and smell the difference!
The great thing about Arm and Hammer baking soda is that there are no harsh chemicals and it safely cleans, freshens and deodorizes. Many people use it for refrigerator deodorization, cleaning and personal care.

I agree – love and use Arm & Hammer baking soda for lots of things. My most favorite thing to use it for is to clean my kitchen sink. I don’t use ANYTHING else! Just sprinkle some baking soda in a moist sink, scrub with a sponge or scrubber brush, and rinse clean! LOVE how it sparkles and cleans my white enameled sink. :)
