Avery Give Back To Schools

Education and community involvement is very important to me, so I’m delighted to be working with Avery office supplies on their Give Back to Schools campaign.

This program is Avery’s third annual Give Back to Schools™ promotion in which you can win cash and prizes for your favorite school! They will be giving away a total of 500,000 Box Tops for Education® coupons, $50,000 worth of durable Avery school supplies and $5,000 in gift cards! All you have to do is submit your school and get your family, friends and teachers to vote daily. This year’s voting is open from May 7th – September 14th, and anyone 18 years or older can vote online once per day.

Part of my partnership with Avery includes a $1,000 donation of school supplies to a local school of my choice. This donation includes a variety of school supplies including binders, glue sticks, hi-liters, sticky notes and other vital products for learning in the classroom!

I am proudly donating these school supplies to Holy Family school in Des Moines. Holy Family is an inner-city school that provides a Catholic education to a wonderful group of children with a rich mixture of cultures, many from immigrant/refugee families. The majority of these children are challenged by the English language and living in poverty. I hope these school supplies will be put to great use! :)
