Sneak Peek of My COOL WHIP Photo Shoot

The beginning of January brought a fun new adventure and my first trip to New York City. I was fortunate enough to share this experience with a few amazing gals (Shelly from MomFiles, Jenny from Picky Palate and Ana from SpanglishBaby). The trip was for a photo shoot with the famous Martin Schoeller who has photographed everyone from the President to Angelina Jolie.

The photos (which I’m sure will be amazing) will actually appear in an upcoming advertisement for COOL WHIP in several women’s magazines this coming March.

Jenny, from Picky Palate and I on set.

The day of the shoot, one of my worst fears came true and my phone didn’t charge. I woke up fifteen minutes before we had to be out the door. Let me tell you, that was the fastest I’ve ever gotten up in the morning in my life.

No time for a shower. I literally woke up, brushed my teeth, washed my face, threw on some clothes and tossed everything in my bag because we were scheduled to fly home right after the photo shoot.

I had no reason to panic though, there were fabulous hair and makeup artists on set to get rid of the bed head and dark circles.

The skyline view from the set was breathtaking. You could see everything.

I am not going to lie, I was pretty nervous about the shoot itself. I am not a model, so at first, having several people standing around watching while I pose was a little intimidating. Everyone was very friendly and encouraging which eventually made it a little less scary.

I am very excited to be in this partnership with COOL WHIP and I had a blast with the other bloggers and everyone who made the photo shoot happen! Stay tuned for delicious COOL WHIP recipes and be on the lookout for the finished photos in magazines this March!

I am working in partnership with the COOL WHIP brand and I am receiving compensation for my participation in this campaign. All thoughts/opinions are 100% my own.
