Playstation® 3 Move Review

The upcoming release of the Playstation Move will quickly divide a generation of gamers: Move or Wii? Let me tell you a little information before you make up your mind just yet. The PS3 Move has the capabilities of the Wii, but with amped up features like advanced motion sensors through the web-cam like “eye”, color changing spheres, and vibration feedback.

The Move is set to launch September 17th, 2010 and if you don’t already have a Ps3, you can order the PlayStation 3 Move Bundle for $399 and receive everything the day it comes out. For all of you that already have the console, you can purchase a Playstation Move Starter Bundle. The bundle comes with the Playstation Eye camera, one move controller and the Sports Champions Blu-ray game and I would recommend getting at least one other controller and a Navigation Controller.

The games that are available for the Playstation Move so far are:

Start the Party™
The Shoot™
EyePet™
Kung Fu Riders™
Sports Champions™
The Fight: Lights Out™
TV Superstars™
Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest
Tiger Woods PGA Tour ‘11
Brunswick Bowling

Here is a slide show from the PS3 Move House party I hosted. We were able to demo the new Move and a few of the games. Feel free to view the slide show!

  1. If playstation3 is looking for a person to test out the new call of duty games i would be happy to do it

  2. PS3 Move: the future of gaming control. The three games I got to play there, Tiger Woods 11′, Sports Champion, and TV Superstars, were amazing. The only problem is that Tiger Woods 11′ doesn’t cater to left-handed people. I bet that the other games will be just as good as the other games.

  3. Very fun – we have a PS3 and a Wii, so not sure which one we’d like better! Looks like all the consoles are coming out with these, the XBox 360 has one now too.

  4. I was wondering about this. We have both a PS3 and a Wii but any game that gets my kids (and me) actually moving is a GOOD thing!

  5. OMG my husband is so going to want this! He is PS3 obsessed!

  6. We haven’t gone the Wii route yet so maybe we will look at this instead. I love that it is interactive.

  7. I have been thinking about the PS3. I am a video game junkie.(I still play my old school nintendo) I just might have to give it a try.

  8. Sounds cool. However we already got a Wii and Xbox 360 collecting dust. The last thing we need is a 3rd system.
