Kmart Makes Shopping Easier With Local Online Shopping
A new local service, mygofer™, is popping up in states across the US and is designed to make your life easier. You see, this isn’t like ordering from a typical online store, with mygofer you can find virtually anything. Customers can order items online at mygofer.com, by phone, or through any mobile device, and pick up items at their local Kmart location within hours. Plus, as of June 1st, customers can now even have items delivered directly to their home or office.

Joliet, Illinois is home of the only mygofer store, but I believe we may be seeing more of these opening up in other states. In addition to being able to have items delivered to your home or picked up at your local Kmart store, you can visit a mygofer store and shop for thousands of items at touch screen kiosks, and then pick up your items in their drive-thru. Interesting service. I’d be neat if I could do my grocery shopping at home and then just pick it up and be on my way… no distractions, no impulse buying, no dealing with walking thru the store for a hour with my wiggly son. Besides the sheer convenience and thoroughness of mygofer, I have to say my favorite feature would have to be the Produce Picker – I’m terrible at knowing which fruits and vegetables are the freshest and ripest when I go to the store myself, so it would be great to let mygofer do the work for me since they guarantee the best produce.
