Turn Your Photos Into Canvas Wall Art!
You may not know much about me, the mom behind Busy Mom, but you can catch up a little here. I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Art. I have yet to put that degree to good use (If you are an employer in Iowa looking for someone with experience in art, design, online marketing and photography, definitely shoot me an email
)
I actually worked for a photographer for three years so I know how expensive your bill can add up to be, especially if you order canvas prints. I’m sorry for what I’m about to say all you photographer’s out there……
please forgive me

You don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars at a photography studio. No matter what camera you have or how technologically un-savvy you are, you can turn your photos into canvas wall art yourself. Here are some tips:
- Make sure you are taking your photos at the highest resolution possible. I use a Canon Rebel xTi. Here are a few of my tips to take better photos even with a regular point-and-shoot camera.
- Editing your photo is a must. Very rarely, will your photo be ready to print straight out of the camera unless you are some crazy photography-expert guru. I would recommend Picnik, a free editing software that is amazing and easy to use. I have the premium version which actually comes out to be like $2.00/month.
- Upload your photo straight to Canvas Press, choose your canvas size, border preference, enhancements if you choose, and voila….
You will have your canvas print shipped right to your doorstep. Believe me, visitors will be asking which photography studio you went to. You could even do something funky like this canvas wall collage…

I received a 16×20 canvas print from Canvas Press, which you can see in the first photo collage with my son Colton. The detail is amazing and what was even more amazing was that Canvas Press called me before printing:

And what’s even more amazing than that? One of YOU will be receiving your own canvas prints from Canvas Press (valued at $113.99).

I was so excited to see this suggestion. I am in the midst of redecorating my living room and have the perfect wall for several canvas prints! I would want to order at least 3 – one for each of my children. We also own a fishing resort in Minnesota with 8 cabins and I would like to order one for each of our guests with their “big catch”! I am following you on twitter, suggested the facebook page and added it to our favorites on the resort facebook page.

What an awesome idea! It’s hard to pick just one, I’d either get one for my mom of her grandkids, or take a picture from the top of a hill overlooking my grandfathers beloved town in west virginia. I know he’d love that. I’m sure either one would be placed in an area of importance and admired greatly.
Thank you for the giveaway!

I have a beautiful photo of my two little granddaughters when they were ages 2 and 6. It was taken last year when our son was married at sunset on a private island in the Caribbean. They were the flower girls, and wore very simple white dresses and little halo crowns of flowers. The photo is of them just wandering the beach together after the wedding, not knowing that they were being photographed. It is so simple and beautiful. I would love to have this to hang in my family room where I spend most of my time.
