One thing that some people take for granted is their backyard. Growing up, I didn’t even think twice about how great it is to have that space. Since we now live in an apartment, we usually have to drive 10 minutes to the park. That may not seem like a big deal (and it isn’t) it is just a little inconvenient. Colton is a rambunctious, sports-loving, two and a half year old boy that needs to be active the whole day.. or… I will be praying for bedtime to come a little sooner.
We always go to the park on nice days and this time we brought his golf clubs. By golf clubs I mean a cheap $5 set that the “easter bunny” bought from Walmart. By the look of things, we have to upgrade to a better set because I think golf just might be his game (Grandpa Paul will be proud).

I was extremely surprised at what a natural he was. Let’s just say he did not get his golf ability from me. I try to steer cleer of golf courses because I whif more than I actually hit the ball.
This was Colton’s first time “golfing”. No one ever taught him how to stand or swing- maybe it’s just beginners luck.

We always have a great time when we go to the park, but I cannot wait until we have a backyard and neither can Colton, because this is the face I get when I tell him we have to leave…
…. and it usually buys him an 15 extra minutes.

He is soo cute!
What a face! I would totally cave too and go for another 15 minutes!
I hear ya, we JUST moved into a house with a yard – I can’t wait to be able to use it! He looks like he’s a natural – hopefully he’ll turn pro and support you in the years to come!
That is awesome! Way to go on getting the stance etc right!!!!
What a face!!! LMAO – that is hilarious
He does look like a natural…at almost 5 my little guy hasnt really figured it out yet.
I love the sad face when he has to go home.
