hi im ten and im home schooled but im about on winter break and we just got our first really big snow and on the weather channel said that its gonna be like this all day so i am really bored and have tried everything i think that the list will help o yeah tried playing with friends in the neighborhood its really fun if you make a fort and play or even make giant snow balls and freeze them

I live in Iowa so it is always snowy. Going outside, cooking, making a dance, doing/making a play/movie, playing hide and seek, and sitting by the fire are all great ideas.

Thanks for all the great ideas! My children love building forts indoors! It actually is a lot of fun doing things indoors (I hate the cold!). Plus, my kids are really good with using their imaginations!

great ideas. now all we need is some snow

We had a snowed in day today and made cookies! It is a blog post waiting to happen, so much fun! (my 2 yr old painted the cookies with food coloring!)

So many fun things to do, if only there was snow here. I guess we could always pretend it is and do some of the indoor ones!

Baking cookies is my favorite snowy day activity too. The warm oven heats up the house…love it.
