Subway is one of my favorite places because it’s quick and healthy. No more boring burgers, Subway has added delicious melts. On a recent trip to Subway, I tried the Chicken Marinara Melt and my husband tried the Big Philly Cheese steak. Even though it was super messy, the marinara melt was yummy. I definitely have to try the Chicken Cordon Bleu next time.
Not only do they have sandwiches, but I love the wraps, soups and salads. With many options under 6 grams of fat that are low in calories, your children are sure to find something they like that is healthier than other fast food restaurants. Here is a comparison to other fast food restaurants:
| SUBWAY® Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki | 380 | 4.5 |
| SUBWAY® 6-inch Turkey Breast | 280 | 3.5 |
| Burger King Whopper | 670 | 40 |
| KFC original recipe chicken (1 chicken breast, 1 wing) | 480 | 28 |
| Taco Bell 3 regular beef tacos | 510 | 30 |
| McDonald’s Big Mac | 540 | 29 |
Now that you know it’s healthy, how about the price? I am sure you have seen the commercials for the $5 footlongs, and those are of course great deals, but have you thought of Subway for your parties and get-togethers? You can purchase a Classic Combo, FreshFit or the Flavor Craver platter for only $24.99 and they serve 5-9 people.
