What’s In YOUR Tuna Sandwich?

I have underestimated the versatility of tuna. Tuna Enchiladas? Teriyaki Tuna Burgers? I bet you haven’t had those! You can even create many different varieties of Tuna Sandwiches. Here are a few ways you can turn a regular ‘ole tuna sandwhich into something special.
- Mayonnaise, paprika, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper
- onion, celery, tomato, black olives, balsamic vinegar
- Sour cream, shredded mozzarella, sweet relish
- Mayonnaise, Dorothy Lynch dressing
- Roasted Red Peppers, Basil, red wine vinegar
- Mayonnaise, water chestnuts, celery
You can also switch it up with a variety of breads….
- Tortillas
- Focaccia
- Flat bread
- Rolls
There is even a variety of tuna you can buy!
- Flavored: Spicy Thai Chili, Lemon Pepper, Sundried Tomato and Basil
- Solid White Albacore in Water or Oil (cans or pouches)
- Albacore Steaks
- Low Sodium
- Light Tuna
- Tonno in Olive oil
Be on the lookout for some recipes on Busy Mom using Bumble Bee’s seafood. These are a must-have for any busy mom’s pantry. You can do so much with canned tuna, shrimp, salmon and other seafoods….
Thanks to Bumble Bee foods for providing me with a variety of products to try out and see the versatility and quickness of canned seafood. Products were provided, but no compensation was received and all thoughts are my own.

Funny I came across this article today because I just finished eating a tuna sandwich about 20 min ago. I love all the varieties of tuna you have here. I am definitely going to try that out. My usual tuna sandwich only consists on tuna, mayo, salt, pepper, and old bay seasoning. Great post!

I love tuna, but to save on the bread, add a scoop to a tossed salad, or wrap some in romaine lettuce leaves. That’s versatility.

Honestly, I don’t understand folks who enjoy the cat food called tuna fish from the can.

I dunno why i never thought to put sour cream in my tuna sandwiches. Lettuce is a definite must. The added crunchiness to the moist tuna texture is freaking amazing. Oh! And diced boiled eggs. Yum. If I wasn’t so exhaused and had loads of laundry to fold, I’d get on that right now.

I like sliced blue cheese on mine

I am a HUGE tuna fish fan. I love making Tuna Melts in which I toast my bread, place tuna fish on it, some shredded cheese and then place it in the oven until the cheese melts. It’s TOO delicious.
