Bake Me A Wish {Giveaway} – CLOSED

I was delighted when this scrumptious looking cake landed on my doorstep… on my birthday!  Let me tell you…. I am a chocoholic - chocolate brownies to be exact, especially a warm brownie with ice cream and tons of chocolate syrup.  Bake Me A Wish sure knows the way to a girl’s heart.  Maybe they should call my husband.

Bake Me A Wish is an online store, which has birthday and gourmet cakes for every occasion, sent right to the recipients doorstep on the date you request.  Why would this be handy? Being able to send a gourmet cake through the mail is great.  Surprise a loved one on their birthday, anniversary, graduation or just because.  Bake Me A Wish guarantees on time delivery, even overnight.  The gourmet cake comes with a personalized card and in a beautiful box (like I photographed above).  The cakes stay fresh with air packs and ice gels and run around $34.95.

I tried the Triple Chocolate Enrobed Brownie Cake, which is first enrobed in rich chocolate, then gets completely covered in dark chocolate shavings, then drizzled with milk and dark chocolate, and finally…. an edible plaque covers the top.  It was extremely delicious.  I even had a piece for breakfast!

So…. would I buy this in the future?  Possibly.  It is one of the tastiest cakes I have eaten.  The downside is the price.  Buy a cake for $39.95 and then shipping is $19.99, so that comes to about $60.  I would love to see Bake Me A Wish sell their cakes in local grocery stores for less because I would definately buy two or three or four.
