Chocolate with Vanilla Frosting Cupcakes!

Lori and Mark Sandler are parents of a boy named Benjamin who is allergic to milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish and sesame seeds. They carefully had to monitor his foods and his first birthday cake ended up being shaved ice with a candle. One problem Lori and Mark noticed was the lack of snacks and treats he could eat with his friends like the pizza and cake at birthdays. Naturally, as parents, this led Lori and Mark to hunt for a solution. Lori started baking treats at home that Benjamin was able to eat. The Sandler’s knew there were thousands of “Benjamin’s,” out there and thought they could help. Lori started baking from her home and eventually started her bakery – Divvies! Divvies treats are now available online!
I was really excited to try Divvies because I had never tried anything specifically made without peanuts, tree nuts, eggs or milk. As soon as my youngest brother, who is 11, saw the Divvies cupcake box… he jumped at the chance to help me review these products. Our favorite item at Divvies, hands down is the cupcake decorating kit. Everything you need comes in a box: the sprinkles, frosting, and a dozen cupcakes. We had a fun time decorating them, but the best part was the taste testing. Let me tell you, these were some of the most delicious cupcakes I had ever tasted. I was very surprised there were no eggs or milk in them. Usually the men in my family wouldn’t touch something if it said “Vegan,” (who knows why, they are just big carnivores…but my sister who is 17 is trying to be Vegan for 30 days) All of the Divvies products were eaten right away. As you can see below, my brother and Colton enjoyed the cupcakes.

Not only does Divvies have cupcakes, but they have: cookies, gourmet popcorn, candy, gift baskets and more. Everyone can enjoy these treats! These are perfect to take to school functions. I know many schools are asking that people only bring treats like fruit snacks and boring snacks like that because of kids with food allergies. Bring a surprise that everyone can enjoy!
