So, Do Our Husbands Know Us AT ALL?
Hi, it’s me…Victoria Arya and I’m baaaccckkk…scared yet? Alright so just in time for Mother’s Day tomorrow I have a question for you. Does your hubby KNOW you at all? Alright, so what brought this about? Well…this morning hubby was talking about what we should do for Mother’s Day tomorrow and he finally decided that we should go on a hike. Now, if you know me AT ALL you know I would much rather do something like go to breakfast or brunch or take a nice drive to some place different and browse boutiques…hey I am a blogger/reviewer it’s what I do. I mean really, a hike? I have to be in the mood to go on a hike and tomorrow, on a day that is suppose to be all about me…I can already tell you I am not going to be in the mood (ps…it is suppose to rain!). Fun Fun Fun. So, I don’t know if he is clueless or if he just doesn’t care enough to plan something that I would like to do…to give him the benefit of the doubt I am leaning towards clueless.
And you know, this is just one example of many when hubby says or does something that makes me look at him and mentally question “DUDE, do you flippin’ know who you married?”
So, what about you? Are you and your hubby on the same wave length…do you know each other like the back of your hand?

Well, we have been married 32 1/2 years and I know he would never suggest that! I guess we do know each other so very well, but he never would have suggested that earlier in our marriage either because he knew I would hate it. LOL This is a subject we have discussed over and over. Our one daughter has many times said how she hates hiking and camping also, so it has been talked about endlessly. Other things might be different but I think we just do know each other so well that usually he gets it right. It could be length of time or also that we pretty much like the same things and do everything together-except for baseball games which he takes our son and I gladly stay home. They tease me and ask me if I want to go and know I will say NO!
Anyway, this was a cute story to start the day so thank you for sharing! Have a Happy Mother’s Day and I do hope you get to do something special for you! Being a Mother is the best thing ever!

Oh that is funny! Sad, but funny! My husband would soooo get the “evil eye” if he suggested hiking to me - Mother’s Day or otherwise. I think he knows me sometimes, but other times is completely clueless. It’s the nature of the beast I suppose!
I hope you have fun whatever you end up doing. Maybe for Father’s Day you can suggest shopping or sewing or something!

That’s funny! I would love to hike! I got home today and there was a card on the table with a large envelope. I guess TJ and Colton went and got their picture taken at some picture place! Lol. It’s too cute.

I think he gets me…but sometimes he just doesn’t get IT. My first mother’s day (pregnant) he took me to the Sears outlet to buy a garage door opener. (He thought it was sweet because he didn’t want me and the baby to have to walk in the rain) Since then I haven’t been able to get him to plan much of anything. He makes me breakfast, buys my cards from the kids…but then it seems like it’s up to me to plan the rest of the day. I always hold out until the end of the day because I hope he’ll surprise me with something…but he never does. He’s just not good at that stuff. Which is funny because I don’t have problems with anything else…he’s Mr. Mom for half the week because we switch off which one of us is working and which one is home with the kids. But for some reason men just don’t seem to think about things the way we do. I put so much time and effort into planning these kinds of things…whereas he’ll stop and the store on the way home from work to pick up whatever. It just kind of stinks!

My husband is so clueless and lives in his own little world.
