Iced Coffee Day at Dunkin’ Donuts

As the wife of a former Army soldier that served his country for 9 years (and has had two tours – one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan), this is a cause that touches my heart. Dunkin’ Donuts has teamed up with Homes For Our Troops for Iced Coffee Day.

Dunkin’ Donuts has announced Tuesday, April 21st to be a special “Iced Coffee Day” event. Dunkin’ stores throughout the country will sell small iced coffees for the reduced price of only 50 cents. Five cents from each cup sold will go to Homes for Our Troops, a national, non-profit organization that builds specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans.

You can even RSVP to the “Iced Coffee Day” event on Facebook!

Dunkin’ Donuts is also launching a nationwide call to recruit one million new volunteers to support Homes for Our Troops’ efforts. Volunteer opportunites include donating services for a local “Build Brigade” to help construct a home for a verteran in need, donating materials, equipment or land for new homes, joining a street team to help build awareness,  hosting a virtual fundraiser, or making a monetary donation.
