Take your lunch to work. I know it is easy to say this, and I have trouble doing this one. Sometimes I bring Lean Cuisines, but those are just as expensive. If you drink pop with your lunch, buy a 24 pack of cans and stick it in your lunch….

If you go out for dinner. Right away set aside half to take home for another meal. Or you could order off of the kids menu. I usually don’t eat my whole meal and have a habit of not boxing it up. I need to work on this one!

Fill your re-usable water bottle with water instead of buying bottled water.

Try vegetarian meals once a week. You can still fill them with protein-rich ingredients while saving a bundle.

Try unplugging all major appliances at night. They still use electricity even when not turned on.
