Hey everyone, my name is Emily. I am currently a wife, mom, student, photographer and blogger! I live in Nebraska with my husband and son, but we are originally from Iowa. My hubby is a sports fanatic and plays baseball for his college team. I am a senior in college (yay!). As you can probably imagine, like everyone else, I am a busy mom. Being a full time student, with a full time student + athlete hubby, and being a part time photographer and blogger….I could go cRAZy if I didn’t have tips and tricks to make my life easier. Being a mom is hard work. I wanted to create a site that gathered all the best information to make busy mom’s lives easier. So here it is!

First off, I just wanted to say hi to all you busy moms out there. I am Trisha, and I’m going to be writing a few posts for you. Just to introduce myself, I thought I’d tell you a little about me. I am a stay-at-home mom of an 18 month little girl. We are both redheads, so we have a little stubbornness and a little sass in us. My husband and I have been married for 5 years this month, and we look forward to a whole eternity together. We plan on having more kids, in fact, we want a lot. We’re thinking 5 or so. I know, we’re crazy, but we’re both from big families, and we love it.

I make and sell nursing covers and little baby leg warmers online and locally to make a little extra spending money. My site is called Cutie Covers, if you want to check it out. I love to create things. I used to do painting and drawing in high school, but I haven’t done anything for a while now. I also love to make jewelry and sew. I pretty much make whatever I see and like. I am not rich, and while I would love to buy a necklace, or a bag that costs $100, I don’t have that kind of money. So instead I make it. I play around and figure out how, and that way I am not paying that much. I’m cheap, and I admit it! LOL! My sister-in-law thinks that I can make anything. I don’t know about that, but I sure do try!

Hi to all the Busy Moms I am Joanne. I am currently a Stay at Home Mom (SAHM) hoping to stay one as long as possible. I am the mom to a spirited 18 month old little boy. He keeps me on my toes. Besides trying to keep up with him, I try to be a pretty decent wife to my hubby. We’ve been married for 3 years. I love being a SAHM. It allows me to spend lots of time with my little guy and I get to work on my culinary skills.

I am so happy for the opportunity to be a part of Busy Mom. My blog, Barely Domestic Mama is about life in general, but on here, I will be featuring lots of recipes because cooking and baking is one of my favorite hobbies. Can you believe this from the girl who hadn’t cooked a meal until she 20 years old?! I remember my mother telling me that no man would want to marry me if I didn’t know how to cook! Boy was she wrong. My hubby has been enjoying my great meals for 3 years now without complaining. He has been with me from frozen meals or meals from a box to homemade chicken paella and homemade flan.
